The Transform Diet, The Revised Edition by Brett Salisbury

As told by the consumer digest report:

The revised edition of the Transform Diet is bolder, more detailed and delivers through simplicity than did the Transform Diet's original edition published in December of 2008.

Chapter one (in the revised edition) breaks down the banana in one part of the book and helps you to understand even though fruit is considered healthy, there is just too many carbohydrates and fructose or fruit sugar in the banana, as the human body can utilize about 25 total grams of carbohydrates. The typical banana has 39 grams and an additional 12-15 grams of fructose or fruit sugar. Where will these extra carbs be stored unless immediately burned off? BODY FAT.

Moderation is "the key" as Salisbury explains. He backs his explination with source after source from the top institutions in the world. It's a unique but powerful way to prove what he says is true in every chapter, regardless of the topic.

The book is so precise abridging each chapter of the best information from every top instituion and doctor in the world. This is "not a diet book, but a lifestyle." as he proclaims in his opening statements and we couldn't agree more. - Don Clayton, Editor in Chief of The Consumer Digest Report.

The Transform "Diet" finally pinpoints the truth about proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, the workout and is so direct it doesn't leave the consumer with questions. The water chapter for example is still is the best research we have ever seen in any weight loss or diet book and proves water and the type of water is critical. The proof from the National Cancer Institute to Stanford University is mindblowing in the water chapter, but you will find five other chapters as strong before reading chapter 6.

Mr. Salisbury breaks down technical lingo we can all understand. Chapter 9 is hilarious from protein bars to pre-made protein drinks and what the truth really is breaking each, however, the revised edition only will carry this new chapter 9. It's out loud laughter while you learn. We have never seen it done better and so condensed as the book is less than 150 pages.

Transform and it's products are "the best in the business" as (Click Source: Forbes™ Magazine) is quoted.

What's so interesting in what we found is that Salisbury's original book, doesn't include a single product he was pushing for selfish reasons, in fact while his original work was being published he began working on products that would be better for the body than the one's he recommended in his original work.

He simply told the best powders that was out there but was discouraged as he found flaws in each. He promised to one day put it "all together" and come out with his own line to solve these problems -- We are convinced he has done that not only with the revised edition book but his product line.

For example:

The Transform protein bar that has 15 grams of fiber while only containing 3 total sugar grams. No sugar alcohols or glycerine. The "taste is like a Bit O Honey and texture of a power bar" as he states. We tested it. He's right. They are now available to buy on his site and in stores soon. There's truly is no after taste as the author promised, and were pleasantly surprised. "The bar doesn't cause a pancreatic response as most other bars do as his new revised book calls them a "candy bar in disguise." explains Salisbury.

His entire product list is not challenged today. The author says it took him 3 years to develop after his 25 years of studying the field. Quite simply, it's finally product we can all eat and enjoy and the book is the guide. "Transform," is the name he said he came up while standing in the shower one night in early spring 2008. The rest is becoming history.

What we think:

This is the only book of it's kind which is unbiased, and not government funded.

I highly recommend the website as well and I have had the priviledge to the best tasting products I have truly ever tasted and we at The Consumer Digest Report™ (New York Times Company®) can accurately say this is the truth from top to bottom . "I waited until now to see just what was offered. I took the information and basically reinvented it." says Salisbury. After reading the revised book, We think he is the best sports nutritionist in the country with his creativity and ability to touch everyone with his mindset, approach and product line. Chapter 2 in his book is Transform Vs.Doctor Oz -- No one takes on Oprah's people. He does and actually (in a very gentle and polite way) embarasses Dr. Oz with the help of the top institutions and doctors in the world. We give the revised edition a hands down 5 star rating and book of the decade honor, while only giving the original transform diet, published in 2008, 3 stars.
